Really solid release! Kappa no Kawa Nagare and Aller a la Discotheque are my faves.
thanks again everyone! nice to see the one's people enjoy the most, "Mind Over Antimatter" is the one i'm most proud of because I got some pretty big sounds with it, but Kappa no Kawa Nagare has those arps. and that polyrhythmic section.
idk they're all my babies.
glad to see people enjoying them ![]()

I've listened to it like 5 times in a row. SUMMER IS PARTY TIME NOW.
Great release, man. Very summery indeed. I dig the happy ish sound of it. I really like the last few tracks the best. I think the snares could be a bit more insteresting/punchy. Nice synthesis and melodies. Looking forward to more in the future. ![]()
What snare do you use? I've tried a bunch but he C4, shape:CE seems to work best. Or it sounds the best to me.
I like to use the 909 snare at times. Stacking it with a noise snare. But if I'm using the wav channel for kicks, then I like to make a snare with a table to make it more snappy/punchy. Here's a kick I just made after reading your post. It's not the best example, but:
BPM: 128
Instrument: Noise
Note: C3
Envelope: B1
Shape: C3
Table:
tsp
00
FE
03
04
2B
H04 (H command making it hop back to 04)
Another common snare I like is
inst: noise
Note: C3
envelope A1
Shape EE
Table:
00
02
ff
00
00
00
00
etc
messing around with the values in the table and the shape in the instrument.
anyhow, nice stuff. ![]()
