Any chance anyone can point me in the directions of the components and also the gameboy cart reader. Also just incase mine goes tits up were can I buy a flasher from?

I don't know of any current production flashers available new.
You basically have to build one or find one used.

As for the parts, I'm working on mine now and I found all the parts in a local online store. They're fairly common parts and with a little bit of looking around, you'll be able to find them without paying too much. As for the cart reader, most people salvage them from old gameboys.
