Hello everybody, I am requesting your help to find the user name or nick of the artist who painted this beautiful picture, called "The Ship".
It has an interesting background story...
You can feel free to spread this pic all over the Internet. My intention is to STABLISH CONTACT with the author of "The Ship"

I'm pretty sure this ship is from "Pirates!" for the NES, but with crazy colors
no idea, search on google "the ship.png + 8bc + pixel art"
or something like that, i dont recognize the artist
was the image called 'the ship' when it was uploaded to 8bc?
if someone remembers the old directory structure at 8bc, like... 8bc.org/images/theship.png, maybe the wayback machine would have it stored.
i bet its 8bc.org/images/username/filename though, or something, still no help...
I'm a bit sad that the image itself wasn't archived...

It's so weird, though... I have a very dim memory of somebody posting that picture in the "cool art" section of another forum I used to frequent... it's very dim, though... that image just rings the "deja vu" bell in my head. hm.
