What method did you use for syncing with your NES? I remember a project being proposed for that a while ago, but I don't think it was ever completed.

so if it's sync to pulse, there are loads of possibilities aside from a DAW. You could sync to drum machines, xoxbox, monotribe, synths. I'm not into NES but this thread caught my eye anyway, i like to see people developing solutions for using old hardware
