I've found that a simple pulse instrument can get an aggressive wobble effect with the PF0 command. What are your techniques for making dubstep drops in LSDJ? Or do you think that dubstep isn't kosher?
didn't this topic strike you as being kinda goofy when you went to post it?
I do drops and break downs, but that isnt a dusbtep monopoly, it existed way before bros started to wobwobwobwobwob.
Wave channels in pingpong mode and playing with the repeat value helps too
fwiw those woop-woop pitchbends are handy for a bunch of things

So what... he's asking a question about lsdj technique. This whole what's good and what's not dichotomy in chipmusic has to stop. So what if I want to write a dubstep song. That doesn't mean I can't write a jazz, dance, hiphop tune, etc.
I don't have any experience with writing this stuff in lsdj, but if you remember that modulation can sometimes just mean volume automation then it shouldn't be too hard to do:)

kosher
What he said ^. Saves will be available on release
Also check out my track Subsonic at 1:35 there's a bit of a buildup, I've gotten much better since then though, saves for it are available for free with the album download.
Also definitely check out Whitely's You & Him (which also has a save available) and Knife City's Slam Dunk Lifestyle.

i still don't understand how any one can write dubstep for more than 30 seconds
I wish! No, Whitely's does, Knife City's doesn't. Fix'd it.

I thought it was random compilation of 30 sec loops?
so if your asking about "drops" i think this is helpful even though its for a different tracker

if your trying to ask about about making wobbles (you score a million cool points for not calling it a wub) then alot of lsdj artist use variations of this kind of sound.

i think most people can agree that experimenting with f,v,e commands is how most people create it
most chip i listen to is dubstep, grime, dub, bassweight influenced so its def kosh with me.
