- Built in waveforms AND OR
- Wave editor with wave drawing
- The ability to use multiple samples OR chain channels
- The ability to use render any instrument as midi
- Save as, Load other projects instruments, instrument file format
ability to have two midi outputs instead of one since im out off channels for gear
On the rasp pi version you can do alsa links to mirror the midi output to other hardware outputs. I just got a midi splitter box to sold the problem, but then who needs more than 16 channels of midi for 8 channels of sequencing

Seconding built in waveforms or a wave editor. I waste way too much time looking for samples instead of just learning the damn thing.
Also this is more about the piggy site than the program but a couple more tutorial vids couldn't hurt.
It would be cool to stitch single cycle waveforms together within piggy. Perhaps through a feature I would LOVE -- render selected portion as sample. Gives you unlimited channels!
Have a variable listening note in the sample load screen, allowing entire libraries of samples to be pitched up to save space but you can tell wtf they are
id settle for two op ie having one channel modulate, cross channel sample modulate #multisample crap etc.
I would put those in two different categories, cross modulation and 4op synth would both be awesome for me!
Also, noise generator instrument.
well 4op is just cross modding 4 oscs in various hardwired ways.

Whats more simple that the soundfont support it has? Adding sf to the sample browser is on the todo list. As is wave draw. Text to speech is easy, just drop some sp0-256 samples in there!
