found it

that thread has some of the banter about CPU-02 issues.

sorry to derail your thread...  since yours isn't this model type then i wouldn't worry about it, i just wanted to rule it out for you in case.

Sounds like cool tap dancing routine. Just sayin'.

I'm going to have to leave this one to the pros. I honestly wouldn't bother about it. btjm. have you tried using an instrument with the envelope set to 33 in the instrument screen, without having to use the CMD column to change your E83 instrument to E33?

IT WORKED!
And the rest of the clicks were because of the same problem!
Thanks so much SketchMan3!

Now I ask myself: Then why are those commands there? If they produce such annoying clicks... Could it be a problem of the LSDJ version I'm currently using? (4.0.5)

EDIT: Thank you anyway kitsch (we overlapped!)

Try setting your instrument envelope to 33 and deleting all the Exx commands.

Edit: yeah like sketch already said lol

Just like math you have several methodes to do the same thing. Create a new instrument with another envelop, put a command in the table, or put commands right there in the phase screen.

It's really handy for when your table is full, or you ran out of instruments. I think it's more demanding of your CPU this way.

I have opened up a bunch of different DMGs - and from what I found the 02 boards had 'A' CPUs, 03 boards were either 'A' or 'B', 04 / 05 / 06 were all 'B' (except for one 06 I have with a 'C' revision CPU), and 07 / 08 boards were blobs...

Hi guys

I've today tried to make a kind of cover of the song "The Grid" by Daft Punk (Tron BSO).
Here's the result:

My problem is that, as you can hear, it's all full of noises, bumps and stuff which make the song disgusting to hear. Other than that, probably my lack of experience on these things helps a bit.
But anyway, could you give me advice on this?

add a less subtle decay to the beginning percussion, and make it slower. so the instrument should start strong, and have a strong, slow fade. with LSDJ, you'll have to use the limitations to your advantage.
