in my cassette deck where it stays
someones chiptune mashup workout beats
On archive.org with all the Grateful Dead concerts.
The ears of people who like it.
For people who said "elevators" and meant it, I've 25% considered seeing if anyone wants to make Mario in an Elevator 2 (or a bossa nova compilation.) I won't work on something like that until mid-Spring though.
where do you want your songs to end up?
because right now they are on my desktop in zip files surrounded by winvice, an old chibi tech song, a couple of c64 demo .prgs, an ariel pink album, the mix that got dj shadow kicked of the decks in miami and an ovenrake live set
I thought I was the only one with that folder o___0
edit_real story:: Oh, I'd like it if my music ended up on some ancient computer (20 years from now). Then some kid buys a computer with my songs on there, learns how to use a tracker, and sends me an email saying their shit got rocked.

Played in a coffee shop or two, so someone asks the girl behind the counter what's playing and she just points to the stack of flyers advertising free music. Everyone likes free music.
On an underground CD store in Japan. Or on an underground anime. Or on an underground hentai game.

to be honest, if my music shows up in the playlists of the artists i look up to and respect, mission accomplished. that tells me that i have provided for them in the same way that they've provided entertainment to me.
Really just this.
On the charts so I can get that $$$. That's right, THREE DOLLARS.
I would love to have entire musical direction/production for a porn film. And I am serious about that.
Dude, this is pretty awesome. On that note, it would be nice to have my music playing in a "Pornochanchada" (brazilian sexploitation movies).

LOL! Do it for the love of music, and the three dollars...
I get a huge kick each time one of my songs comes out in a game. It's rarely chiptunes though...I've talked one or two developers into making their game 8-bit styled just so I can do some megaman knock off music
