I'm not familiar with electronics and all that.  I do mods based on tutorials.  Which leads me to a technical question:  are these switches safe to use for backlights and for underclocking?

I wasn't sure if there is specific specs that switches need to meet before installing in DMGs.

As far as I'm aware, yeah, they'll work.

That's good news.  I need something this small.  I wasn't sure if the "electrical capacity" was important.  Looks like I'll be ordering some of these then.

I'm not claiming to be an expert on the subject, but I'm pretty sure all that it's saying is the amount of resistance the switches create. All wires in electronics generate at least a very small amount of resistance when they are used.

Basically, it's saying that using one of these switches will add 0.08 ohms of resistance to your circuit, which is almost nothing at all.

I used these exact switches in the last mod I did. (a switch for a backlight, and a switch for a LTC)

they worked fine.

its the TYPE of switch you need to worry about.

Hi!

For further information on switches and how to make sense of all those S's, D's, P's, and T's here are two phenomenal guides that really helped me out.

Thanks for the arduinoboy xiwi!  Haven't had the chance to use it yet though.

At least from what it says in the technical specifications, it should work fine.
