There is a partial list of some working laptops there. Also, I can confirm the thinkpad 760el works

I was looking for a more general list. I come across alot of older laptops, and could equip the masses..

Well if you come across a lot of older laptops.. just put Adlib Tracker II on them, and see if it loads up. Or some other trackers to determine if you have the right sound card in there.. That's all I did really...
