This past semester I had a class that introduced Reason and I, and we pretty much hit it off. I have not done any sequencing or recording with it, but when I rewire into Pro Tools, it's pretty magical. What are you guys doing with Reason? If not Reason, what sequencing DAW are you using?

As for me, I did a quick little experimentation track found here http://kevinrogerssound.tumblr.com/post … -synthesis

I also did an original sound design for the fifth Colossi in Shadow of the Colossus. That one is not currently online for display

I dont use it, or renoise to be exact, mainly due to the names being re-diculous.

Reason is great!  I remember someone started a thread about DAWs on 8bc once and everyone shat on it and I was shocked.  More people claimed to like FL Studio than Reason but Reason is superior.  Use Reason more!  It's great!

Reason is a great set of tools when used in Rewire mode for those who don't mind running two separate software together. Don't know about the recent versions, but back in the days of Reason 4/5, the mix quality was just awful when used as a stand alone, something to do about summing if I recall. Given a choice between FL and Reason however, FL clearly comes ahead if only because you can load up quality VSTs in it. Reason's racks are fun, but some of them sound very 1st-gen VA by today's standards.
