Like 10 other people posted, run malwarebytes (or MSE/whatever works) in safe mode. Why'd you ask for advice if you didn't intend to listen?

Macs come with great quality stuff, as in soundcard and what ever.
But the fact of the matter is that when people say "mac don't get viruses", they're either really ignorant on the matter or are strait up lieing.
Macs get viruses, and spyware, and malware, they get slow as well as over heat.
Same thing with chrome books.
Same thing with Windows.

I've been using macs since 1990 and i've never had a virus on one of them.

Just bought a Mac because I was sick of the windows bullshit. There are some things in miss, but less than the number of things I prefer.

Malware bytes and tdss killer will blow almost ANYTHING off of a pc

If your computer is infected with virus, then i would suggest that you reinstall windows, the first thing that a virus does, is to attack the virus killer and firewall, so it can be really hard to remove them, and can take much longer than reinstall windows again.
on windows vista and up, the build in virus killer, and firewall should be pretty good, but on Win Xp, you need a stand alone virus killer and firewall. i use avast virus killer, and zone alarm firewall, and it works for me smile
if you have a slow computer, you can also try programs like advanced systemCare, it clean up the registry base, remove malware, and a lot of other thing.

the slowness can also be that you have fill your hard drive to much, an old rule says, that only use the half of your hard drive.. or else it will be slower, (special system drive)

just run tdss too, you might have other things that only that will get rid of. the combination of the two is important

Since buying a new computer was suggested, maybe you can try another option with your current computer.  Dual boot linux/BSD/etc (maybe darwin if you are interested in a mac) for all your iffy stuff, like pr0n, and learn what you are doing with it.  You may prefer it to windows.  Another option is running a VM for iffy stuff, and this can be windows if you don't want to try something else.  Never use a superuser account for everyday stuff.

You can turn it into a paper weight, or hide your drugs in it.

about as helpful as me going "buy a PC" when someone's having a problem using EMS stuff. Macs aren't virus free.

Windows security essentials and windows defender are usually all ya need. Avira is free also but had mixed experiences with it. Stay away from Norton though.

Edit: Do people actually still download porn nowadays? What is this 1995? It doesn't take an hour to load a jpeg anymore

I cleaned my pc out, and I wish I had a mac but I don't. My pc is great though, I'm happy with it, but I should probably stop barebacking porn sites and turn on my firewall
