Anyone ever try backlighting their TI calculator? It looks like the process wouldn't be much different from backlighting a gameboy, if you could make your own panel.

That video is creepy. I'd say, best bet is to get yourself an el panel and cut it right down to perfect size, then use some tinfoil for your reflective layer. You'd have to figure out the circuitry to power it though.
