µB, how much effort would be required to port medusa over to mac? i've always wanted to give it a whirl.
It's synthedit I believe, so looooooads (i.e. not happening).
Yeah, no dice, sorry. I'm perfectly willing to supply schematics for anybody who's willing to recreate it in Max or anything that puts out .au
Hello everybody,
Thank you @minusbaby for the link to Woolyss website. I am the webmaster of this last one. I re-do all. The plugin's page was updated. Now, the good link to download all plugins (VST, AU, RTAS) dedicated to chipmusic/chiptune/8-bit sound is there :

Thank you for all. I hope it's helpful !
Jikoo
It's very interesting to me to see how many different setups everyone uses. I've been changing my setup a lot lately too, but I've been using a mix of Magic 8bit plug, chip32, NesPulse and Medusa2, but my loadout is always changing. I've recently added ymvst to that list.
There is one vst I know its not the best chipy sound its more of a modern chip its called magical 8 bit..
back in the days when i used to make vsti chipmusic my setup was: samples from videogames, Chip32, basic_64, Peach, Triforce, Monomate, Pooboy.
(like 3 or 4 years ago)

From that list, Retorizer is a kinda-secret tip. There isn't much buzz around it, but I really like its sound and it has some nice features.
Thank you very much guys !

haha yup! haha it took a wile...
Nobody has mentioned basic 64, although I think that's at the woolys site. It's one of my favorites. 4 waveforms with 3 OSC and 2 LFOs. It also has a wobble effect (not like dubstep) where the pitch is slightly and randomly put out of tune, like a bad tape or something. I think the developer is De La Mancha and it can be found at the KVR audio site
