Did I sell you the game genie? Can't remember but if I did then I forgot to include the code manuals.

What exactly is the purpose of the nes  audio mod kit over just the traditional stereo mod?

I'm pretty sure I picked up the Game Genie on eBay.

NES/C64 mod
(from kitsch-bent/low-gain)
his kit provides a mild boosted audio output (fixed) to the NES console. pulse channels are output on the left, triangle/wave/noise channels are output on the right. if ONLY left output is used, all channels are summed to mono on this output.

this circuit also provides protection to your NES's main board from reverse voltage spikes.

Just dropping by to say this kit is awesome and it takes a lot of work out of making a safe and good sounding audio mod.
I have it in my NES and C64. Definitely worth the price.
