I guess with those you can press left + right easily? (If you tried.)

if you tried to, yes.  you can't without wildly manipulating your thumb, but with two fingers its possible certainly.

So I guess these might be really good for use with muddygb then, so you can hit those diagonals somewhat easily?

Damm, i'm not ordering again, just for the Carts - thought it would take longer till you restock tongue
But i have a lil' advice, 'cause i just checked the FAQ Section. 'Cause i have nothing better to do with my life.
I suck :I

Anyway, the Questions for the Cartridge Flashing are all in baby blue. That's cool, even if it's not so eyefriendly. But it's readable, no problem.
But the answers are in white.
Seriously.
I dunno know if this is a wise choice with a almost white background.

I tried out those silicone buttons.
Yeah, they're pretty fuckin' awesome. I thought they might be weird (and they kinda were) but they feel great! Played Link's Awakening, Kirby, and R-type for a few hours, and didn't get any hotspots on my thumbs. My only concern (and it's a small one) is that they'll wear out like the square buttons on my Famicom, but other than that, no complaints. Haven't tried them on my NES controller yet.
Unless you're some sort of hard button purist; you should totally get a set.

UPDATE:

They don't work very well in the NES controller.

lol that was the problem I ran into initially. For me it worked fine, but that may have to do with me being accustomed to using a PSP GO almost exclusively, and it's keys have only a tad more clearance than the buttons in the NES controller.

Good to know, as this is one thing I was considering them for.  I plan on picking up colors I like and figuring out what to do with them later.

kitsch, what colors of these do you plan on doing regularly?

i have zero idea on what the 'regular' colors on these will be.  apart from clear.  that'll be a regular, i have plans for those guys

Offline

ok, cool.  I figured clear would be for backlighting, so regular.  Wasn't sure if i should pick up the pinks and greens i like as i see em.

i would suggest it, tbh...  my mental process tends to be something along the line of "well....  I (or company xxx) has already made this, so let's try something new", i'm just really not sure what i'll end up doing though.  its up in the air at this point in time, entirely.
