I have been testing out various kicks and found that if I use this kick in the wave channel it quietens all other channels when played together. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zscD75k8G1g .
Does anyone know if this is the same for all kicks in the wave channel and is there any work arounds? Id really like kicks in the wave channel so I can get to Pulse channels for melodies.
Unless I'm very much mistaken it's to do with how loud everything is. Turn the kick down and balance everything to match, perhaps?
auditory masking?
just turn down the kick volume or use a kick with a more narrow frequency range (less of the high end sizzle maybe?)
