In the chipmusic world, the tunes are often great and all. But sometimes release artwork is just killer in its own right. So I thought it might be fun to start a thread specific to the particular medium of awesome chipmusic album artwork.

I love that one by Benoît Henken. so minimalistic, yet very lifelike.

Kinda reminds me of an artist on the old 8bc. he was called 04 i believe, amazing pixel artist.. wonder what happened to him...

I may be partial to this for obvious reasons but when UI showed me the art for my album for the first time my jaw dropped.

GOTO80 : Commodore Grooves. Artist unknow.

This was also my first record that had chip music. Goto hid it in our apartment when he was visiting and it took really long time to find it smile


Also that Bud Melvin cover^ so great.
