I don't watch a lot of movies, but my favorites (today, anyway) are The Princess Bride, Time Bandits, Rear Window, Spirited Away, the first two Star Wars films, and Princess Mononoke. I like 2001: A Space Odyssey a lot in concept, but it's a bit of a chore to watch.
