I've got a DMG that is entirely fine other than that the lens/screen guard won't stay down.

Would anyone be so kind as to share with me what sort of adhesives you use that don't cause any damage and work well, and where I may procure them?

Thank you~♥

Double sided tape, trimmed-to-fit. Considering you'll probably replace the cover again in the future, do not use anything permanent.

def don't try super glue or something like that.  eats away the print

^ what jazz said, 3M double sided tape has a pretty great bond, in my experience

I guess I am not the only one who tried this.

Thank you, everyone. :3  The 3M tape worked beautifully.

I sometimes use wood glue.
Sticks like a charm, easy to remove, and no melting.

I do the same. I use to use white elmer's glue but it doesn't work as good as wood glue. If you use slow drying glues you have to tape the screen in place and/or use some type of clamps and/or stack books on top of it for at least 24-48 hours to get the best results.

Double Sided Tape!
Works phenomenally well. No fuss, no muss.
