"My 5-year-old's made loads of totally insane music on his computer, and I'm just like, “What the fuck is that? What have I done to him?” He’s using Renoise. I didn't tell him how to use it, he just downloaded a crack off Pirate Bay."

Probably the best interview on an electronic artist I've ever read: http://pitchfork.com/features/cover-sto … phex-twin/

Almost 100% on a Aphex Twin interview is a joke.

Also he is totally rich enough to pay for a key what the fuck richard.

Hahaha, hilarious but I definitely think it's a bullshit. Not only would it be amazing that he's using Renoise, but he'd be actively using a computer and subsequently, torrent programs to even do this. He's once again trolling the exact fanbase that would follow him the most and in effect, would get the most pissed off at the idea of stealing software

yeah its totally fake just like the real lawsuits involving kids under 10 for pirating music and movies.

my six year old cousin got caught by his parents making multiple email accounts to get free play time for online games.

in 2014 a 5 year old is as competent with a computer as someone born 10 years before them. the joke is on you if you think it's not true.

the son of a guy that most people think is a genius is also smart?!?!? unbelievable!

He began typing in Microsoft Word as a three year-old and knew how to programme and download game emulators at the age of four.

We are not saying that. Stop trying to get the discussion to another point.
We are saying that Aphex Twin is always making jokes and telling lies on interviews, so this is probably a joke too (the pirated part is a very strong clue about this).

Sweeeeeeden

RDJ has a way creating a myth about himself. One way he does that is by engaging people by putting out clues and making drama. For example, The Tuss. For example, putting out the release information for Syro on Tor. And now, talking about his son figuring out how to music and releasing it on Bandcamp, all on his own. Could it be true? Eh, I guess, but it's also completely consistent with the kinds of pranks he can pull. Now, all of his fans will be waiting eagerly to hear RDJ jr's songs, and some will go and make fake accounts to play on the hype.

if you believe a 5 year old can learn Renoise, then why would you think what he is saying is a lie? if you believe a child cannot illegally download software, why would you believe they could learn Renoise? Really simple logic here. The only joke here is the one people are playing on themselves if they don't believe the truth about children being at the forefront of technology.

re: piracy, see the fuck ton of links above.

RDJ is a grade A prankster, really simple logic here.

Again?, we are NOT saying that a children can't use technology, my cousin of 5 can start, play and build up things in Minecraft better than me.

We are only saying that almost 100% of what RDJ says in a interview is a lie.
