I'm psyched to finally release this album, as it's taken me a number of years to finally reach my goal with it! 
It features mainly LSDJ and Famitracker tunes that have been post-produced, arranged and extended with other instrumentation and production to varying degrees. Style-wise I believe it represents my experimental/progressive side of chiptuning, being a bit eclectic and not subscribing to a particular genre or clear reference. It features beautiful original artwork by part-time fireman and artist Anders Karlsson.

Hey! I'm Hoffman_IV. I'm new to the community, obviously, and fairly new to making chiptune music, although I've been listening to chiptune music my whole life haha. I'm currently working on my debut progressive rock/chiptune release, "Boundarymen", an EP made entirely in Famitracker using the 2A03+VRC6 chipset. It's structured like a fictional NES game soundtrack, so you can expect things like a "game over" song, to unique boss battle themes, to new variations on previous songs to indicate progression (an innocent and hopeful "map screen" song that becomes more daring and dark halfway through the soundtrack?!). From time to time I'll post new tracks on soundcloud, leading up to an inevitable release on Bandcamp.
