A tune I have for some reason is exporting hard panned (which is not what I wanted, I didn't pan anything if it can even pan). My export settings are

Buffered SID-writes        Yes
Sound effect support      Yes
Volume change support  Yes
Store author-info             Yes
Use zeropage ghostregs No
Disable optimization        No
Full SID buffering            Yes

Start address $1000

Zeropage address $FB-$FC (Unused)

SID format

I can upload my .sng file if needed.

SID doesnt have stereo so im guessing it's a problem with your player

This is the player I'm using on windows http://www.gsldata.se/c64/spw/ , is that not the best player for windows?

that one is pretty good iirc, not sure what's wrong

if you upload the sid i could try it in a different player

It sounds right to me in vlc which isn't as accurate as sidplay I've heard...
Here's the sid file https://db.tt/u30Kdx19

it's not hard panned for me here either. i am using the sidplayer that comes with vice (xsid). maybe there is something in the sidplay2w settings you can change

cool song!

Vice's sidplay (VSid) has the "best" emulation apparantly, but the new stuff is currently in the nightly builds.  You can get those from here , I've been using one for a while for work and they're quite stable.

I'm not keen on the VSid interface so I'm using sidplay2/w too, but I think it's a later build than the one on their site.

Yeah, only reason a sid would be in stereo is if it's using 2 chips, by default most players hard pan them for that case.  (and for 3sid they put the third sid in the centre)

I tried it in sidplay2/w win32 version 2.6, and it plays well.

Yeah the newer version of sidplay fixed the issues, thanks guys smile

Edit: feel free to delete this thread, since it was such a simple fix.
