yeah these look really good. I'll wait for the sonicstate review but I've got my eye on the robot, for sure. Having said that, I bought an OP-1 only a week ago, so I think I can hold off for a while big_smile

( 」゚Д゚)」オーイ!! The POs are definitely not poop.

Not sure how much use I'll get out of the PO20 (I just ordered) but the PO12 has a solid place in my set up. Such good sounds, and with the nanoloop sync... (*´∀`*)

Has anybody sampled any of the POs for use in sample based trackers?

It's a 4x4 sequencer.

I was intrigued by the PO20 Arcade but I dunno. Still on the fence about getting even one of the pocket operators. Dunno how I'd fit it into my chain of gear. Eh. I'm looking forward to more info on the OP Z tho.

I've got the PO14, but I've not used the sequencer on it; just playing about with the sounds 'live' when recording. I'm pretty shit with the learning curve of new sequencers, so have found more use composing on LSDJ and then using MIDIOUT to something like a Korg Volca. Since the POs don't have MIDI input I've kind of shied away from using them a lot. They're cool, but more a fun sound creation gadget than useful for compositions (for me anyway).

I didn't realize at first,  but Linus Akesson helped design/program these new PO's!  He's the guy behind the Chipophone,  amongst many other things.

Check out his website here:

I think Linus is the man.

Hey guys! I'm new to the forum.  I made this track yesterday with he PO20 and PO28 (Arcade and Robot):

I am no expert in chiptune so this may not follow the "rules"  of the genre wink
