So i bought LSDj, and I dont know how to make songs actually work in the program and make audible instruments.

also, any info on what wave and noise do would be greatly appreciated, as none of the tutorials ive seen actually cover noise and wave in depthly.

Mod edit: made the title overly clear.

Tables, experimentation, and PRACTICE. I cannot stress that enough.

There's a reason why it took me 9 releases to get to a level where I feel comfortable.

now, being a noobie, what are tables? i see people use them alot, but they never go into them. also, this was also a recurring theme with other tutorials to just cover pulse waves and basically nothing else, so knowing what wave and noise do would be appreciated!

Tables are sequences of commands. They're like tiny programs that can be added to instruments (in the instrument screen), or to phrases using the A command (run tAble).

What "works" for me : reading the manual (I mean, really printing it and trying out everything that's explained), and writing down sounds that I like : I now have a cook book for bleeps. Keep it up ! smile
