That's neat but why wouldn't we just use milkytracker?

Because all the sounds in this are generated, it has a dedicated instrument editor with frame changeable waveforms and there's loads of extra effects you can do with filters and polyphony.  Have another listen to the demo tracks, it's completely different to Milkytracker.

This kind of posts are slowly destroying Chiptune software engineering.

Honestly I have no idea why you'd use this over LSDJ wink

looking and sounding good!

what are the exports for this tracker e.g file formats?

You can export the complete track into a WAV.
You can also save your song and play it with the replayer source code in your demos, intros or indie games.

As Comeback Tracker creates all its instruments in realtime there is no other export meaningful
as no other software could handle them.

As someone who used to use AHX back in the day (and trade discs with Pink) I'm very much looking forward to having a go with this.

All I can say having played with it a little while now that it's brilliant and the import Protracker works well too smile

My first port here whilst getting used to using the new features like built-in delay and the awesome synthesis:

This looks fantastic. I might have to dual boot my Mac if this is only Windows. Any ETA on a more formal release?

Thanks. Release is aimed to autumn. Initially there will be a Windows version and a web version.

I started tracking with CBT yesterday and I love it. It seems like the perfect software to get that oldschool sound, while still being able to pimp it a bit without loosing the right feeling. Very inspiring and easy to learn (if you have some tracking experience). After some hours of tracking with it, the only feature I'm still afraid of is the ringmod smile, especially since it seems to occupy one of the tracks (?)

I personally never became friends with AHX/hively et c, but CBT is perfect to me. Four tracks is all you need!
