so... i don't know if anyone else is experiencing this, but a lot of the "bold" fonts on here are really hard on my eyes.  a lot of them have Helvetica at weird settings that give them these super-thick blurry anti-aliased outlines that my eyes have a really hard time picking out.  I'm on a windows machine btw, with most of the standard helvetica fonts installed.

the fonts look a little better and skinnier on my ubuntu machine where i have my helvetica fonts installed as well, but they're still on the blurry and unhinted side.

i used firebug to temporarily change the fonts to something more standard and the difference is freaking night and day.

don't get me wrong, i dig the site's look and feel and i appreciate the effort to make the fonts distinctive.  but is there any possibility of tweaking the CSS a little bit to make it a little more comfortable for windows users?

here's what it looks like on my machine btw:

I totally agree, I've been using chrome since it came out, but that's no excuse for having something unreadable.

I really want to switch to Google Chrome, but they still haven't fixed the 3 finger swipe on mac touchpads.
EDIT: Switched! I found a fix!

that's so odd.
i have heard that a lot since it was released.
in the first version there was a really bad bug
that caused crashes and freeze-ups. but since
version 3 it's been nothing but aces for me.

Same. It is noticeably faster than Firefox. After downloading the BetterTouchTool to add a few multitouch commands, it is hands down the best browser I've used.

Chrome is epic win sauce. Switched from Firefox since they added extensions, and now I can't even use Firefox. Also, the dev releases are awesome. A little more unstable, but that doesn't bother meee.
