Any examples out there of mono + LSDJ? Couldn't find any in the thread or YouTube.
I'm inches away from ordering mono.. I know they'll sync but I'm hoping the two will compliment each other well.

i guess i could whip together some mono stuff to go with one of my old LSDJ tracks, actually have my LSDJ cart out for once (it usually just sits in a drawer)

I did the direct out mod by connecting pin 31 of the cart connector and one of the ground points to a 3.5mm mono output (probably chose the wrong one as my screen now has a slight burn mark in it, oops

Could you share a photo of the soldering? I'm planning to make this mode but I don't want to make mistakes.

Thanks a lot!

See this post:

Any of the points marked with a star (ie. ground) can be connected to the sleeve of a socket, with the tip connecting to the pin that the probe is pointing to (second last pin on the cart slot).

It's a very clean, but also very loud output, so will need some attenuation (unless you use it with eurorack, I guess!). I've actually found I just use my usual prosound output and it's clean enough to use with my Octatrack. I really should get back into nanoloop mono at some point!

Ow thanks a lot! I'm gonna make the mod tommorow. I may add a resistor if the signal is too hot for my recording hardware.

And yeah please do get back into nanoloop mono, I really dig your music and nanoloop mono deserve some love. big_smile

Hello pselodux .it's better to make prosound mod + mono mod, or just mono mod ?

It is indeed really loud. But omg the sound is SO clean. Love it.

turboninja I have both mods on my gameboy and it's fine, I can use the prosound output for lsdj/nanoloop 1 and the direct mono output for nanoloop mono.
