A new gba clone is out.
It seem to be a dingoo a320 like with 128MiB of ram.
Floating point support this time, a beefier cpu, a link port and a better screen
And it can run opendingux.
It's in alpha/beta stage today, but seem promising.

tv out????? SIGN ME THE F*** UP!!
I'm not familiar with Opendingux but does it allow to make some homebrew software?
This thing may get me interested in finally learning to write some SDL program, and could provide for an amazing visual machine.

The original one dingoo a320 was able to tv out.
This one too.
I have not try the tv out but it should work to make visual.
And sdl1.2 works fine on opendingux so yes, you could make 2d visual without problem I think.
And test them on a pc.

yeah, the thing about dingoo (and gp2x) is that I can't seem to find a cheap reliable source to buy it so I'm happy there is an alternative.
I've read that pygame should work on it as well, maybe I can try and make some tests with it as well!

Not sure if this is the same but I had a Revo k101 plus and it had a super loud whine when running nanoloop. Sold it after trying every fix I could find. Just FYI.

This is not the Revo k101 despite using the same shell. It is a gba slot but it will not boot gba carts. It's just for a micro SD adapter.

Ah, interesting.
