This thread is awesome for two reasons 1. Comic used for explanation 2. LSVJ being mentioned as I have never heard of it before and sounds cool, you know anymore info other than this Nordloef http://www.sidabitball.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=4 ?

But flopps if you can get the gameboy to send MIDI (via arduinoboy or various other methods) then thats that.. insert midi into your choice of VJ software and you have sync'd vizwallz

You can sync anything to LSDJ, for example the bent Speak and Math I synced to LSDJ.  http://vimeo.com/7761717

I just havent tried the arduinoboy interface, so i dont know if it work with it, but maybe someone can test and revert ?
(i'm very curious about aduinoboy sync but unfortunately i dont have one)
