It is awesome looking at all these set ups! got me wondering though, mostly as I've not yet rolled out my 'in the works' live setup, is there anything that *needs* to be present to get a good sound over to the sound guy then to the PA ( or straight to the PA). I thinking of things like DI-boxes etc. sort of an open question though really.

the venue should supply the D.I. boxes, but my insane nature may have me buying a couple soon, just for cases like my last gig in chicago, where the venue only had one, so we had to run mono all night
generally nice to have a mixer live, even if youre only going one sound source and just want to be able to EQ, adjust vol level/mute, etc, but thats the closest to something youd need...i mean, besides whatever your music plays back off of

Here's my home setup. I use KORG DS10, KORG DS10+, and to a lesser extent, Warioware DIY. Not pictured are a bunch of gameboys and a gameboy camera, but I've hardly used those.

DJ setup... same laptop, same headphones, Ion Discover DJ, Audio 2 DJ, a USB hub, a broadband card (I take requests!), a trackball.

Haven't done any live gigs yet but it would probably amount to my DSi and a cord... I've barely begun to collect hardware smile

Well, the most important part is my "NES Quadcore" smile
Two systems are PAL and two are NTSC. The one with Samus sticker is my modified PAL one (stereo outputs, ...), I use it for midiNES. I'm going to modify one of the NTSC ones, turning it into my primary machine.
The other two are in very good shape, so I'd hate to mess with them smile

Obligatory GBC, but I don't use it much

My trusty ESI UGM96 soundcard

My computers. The older one contains a soundcard with Yamaha OPL3-SAx chipset!

also, electric & acoustic guitar...
