What's up bros.

I've been a Deflemask user for a bit, but I've always used premade patches for my instruments. I wanna get into doing my own synths. I gotta very basic groundwork on how FM works. Modulators, carriers, ratios, etc. But my sounds don't really hit right. Any advice? I can get a good bass going, a okayish guitar, but I'm struggling with more orchestral stuff. The song I'm doing now I need a sort of brass section, strings, harpsichord... What's the best approach? What are some good tutorials?

BTW, here is nice article about the chip, you can see algorithms and suggested uses, so it is maybe good start when you want to create patch from nothing.

Thanks for the link. Though, I've had that algorithms list in my notes on FM for awhile. Great stuff.
