You haven't lived until you've heard this song from the game "Baby T-Rex".

Just remembered another one... Anamanaguchi has nothing on this:

Also in 1994, (Green Jellÿ) provided the first ever video game soundtrack for the Acclaim Entertainment video game Spider-Man & Venom: Maximum Carnage, based on the popular Marvel Comics characters. Due to the state of video game music technology at that time, the soundtrack was not recorded music, but a computerized rendition of the songs. Portions of the sound track also made an appearance in Maximum Carnage's sequel, Spider-Man & Venom: Separation Anxiety.

Oh yeah, great side of the SNES was that a few games had short and simple, but actual songs or a cappella. It was so cool.

Clay Fighter
Tales of Phantasia - this one is simply great
Earthworm Jim 2
Killer Instinct
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - this one is still catchy as hell

This is some of the most brutal boss music I've heard. Almost as brutal as Armed Police Batrider's boss music.

Yeah well it was a beat-em-up and each boss fight was a long painful torturous process that usually involved breaking through 3 full shields before you actually started dealing damage... and these were just the basic thug bosses. Then you got to the super villains and it was dancin' time:
