Today, I found out Shnabubula went to Blip Fest last year. FML.

I wish I had the ability to play the song just by listening to it! Shanabubula is a very talented man, I love his "alternate universe" VGM series, the Sonic/MJ Street Fighter/Pussycat Dolls one in particular are fucking amazing!

That video was the only ray of light in my shitstorm of a day. Thanks for the smiles Shnabubula, hope you read this.

Unbelievable.  I've been having a really shitty couple weeks and this nearly moved me to tears.  Thank you Shnabubala, it was a pleasure meeting you and I wish you well.

Bit_Shifter, simplicity is nothing to be ashamed of.  No matter how much I go on and on about progressive rock and zanzan and whatnot, the best pieces that stand out the most are the ones that are exceedingly simple in their execution and beauty.

I'm also a little ashamed of the composition's simplicity which I think is really exposed here

I think the reason information chase stands tall as a classic is becuase of it's focused simplicity. The compositions have such soul and substance that they would, as subway sonicbeat already mentioned, sound great on any instrument.

A lot of your melodic work has the same quality, and it what attracted me and a lot of people to that style of chip music.

Josh simplicity is the key, just because the tune isnt "complicated" doesnt change the impact of your tune in any way. Less is more!

Thanks guys. Didn't mean to make this about me. Just meant that hearing my little four-chord ditty being played by a guy with abilities as sophisticated as Shnabubula is pretty humbling. And AWESOME at the same time.

Man, that was awesome. I fuckin' love Sam.

And yeah, simplicity goes a long way when done right. I dig complex stuff, but sometimes when I listen to music I just want to have fun, not feel like I'm in a fuckin' classroom.

This is so amazing, I wish I had half this man's talent.

Wait, that's the guy that got kicked out at the Bell House? As he was being escorted out, he threw a dollar at me and the door guy and told us to eff off !

...Peter, any luck on that taser...?

Bit Shifter- "he knows who he is" LOL

Not to overthink it, but I think this version would be better served with less John Williams/Tori Amos and more ROCK. The original has considerably more impact. I love the Naruto cover. This one is funny, but sorta falls flat. He hints at a sort of Vince Guaraldi thing in the middle. That would be cool.
It was cool meeting Sam at Blip.

In a moment when Blip Festival recreated A Charlie Brown Christmas: I liked it when Friday night Linus C. told the audience the true meaning of chip music.
