2010 was kind of a slow year for DMG specific tunes. I think Kris Keyser's Staring into Squares was by FAR the best Game Boy release of 2010. Other favorites, though:

Chipocrite - HIt & Run
Chromix - Roll Trick
Note! - 12345

Nice picks. I've been missing out.  I forgot about Peer! That's good stuff, probably the most polished production I've ever heard w/ DMGs. Forgot about the Plain Flavored too. That was some pretty crazy DMG action.
The JDDJ3J set is dope, and so is Diamond. 12345 and the Ovenrake are good too.

But man, 2010 was the Year of the NES. What the fuck is wrong with you?

I'm pretty sure 1985 was the Year of the NES.

Once an NES becomes as cool as this picture, I'll believe you.
Like, I'm gonna need someone other than chibi-tech or xaimus.

But seriously Dances - peeR was dope as fuck. Everything released on Metrodub killed. Greenberry Hill was another top notch release in my book, though it may not be raw gameboy action. But hey what's so special about straight up lsdj; Oh yeah Plainflavored.

Fuck how did I forget this? Stellar seeing them at Shiftwave. You too Boys Club. No release, but best live show of the year.

The year started out really nicely with Sievert's Beyond the Frontier, and Jellica's "Wintre" was pretty ace as well. Oven Rake put out like 38942 albums and they were all solid gold, as well as everything that came out on 8bp. I'll also second Greenberry Hill as being an extremely influential and groundbreaking work of art (it really is, seriously), Dances, and 12345.

The coolest part is, 2011 is going to be so much better.
