translucent green, for sure.  as far as other colors, we get a bunch of requests for neon colors so probably those too.  i'm always open to suggestions wink

light blue is my favorite color.  that should probably happen some day although i'm not sure if there is the demand for the color...

There has definitely been a demand for the translucent light blue with my commissions.  They look really nice in a grey DMG. Goes well with the blue text.

Or in dyed DMGs. These colors don't match up all that well, I ended up using your dark blue ones, but I want to try dying another one to match the color of the translucent blue ones.

And here's what the red ones look like in a dyed clearboy. Picture snatched from kineticturtle's blog. The clearboy is one I dyed and backlit, then he put the buttons in.

I want to do more dyed clearboys, but the selection for translucent buttons is rather limited at the moment.

yeah, clear seems to be what most people are interested in and will probably be the direction we steer for the most part...  apart from simple colors.  thanks for the input!  it mattered wink

Apeshit- Your best bet for color matching might be to just buy clear buttons and dye them along with the case, so that they get to be the same color. smile

Any word on the GBA SP headphone adapters?

speaking of restocks: http://store.kitsch-bent.com/product/su … ve-non-usb

these have the DSP1 expansion port wink

and...  GBA headphone adapters have been difficult to find recently for a fair price.  still looking though.  not sure if they justify a huge bulk order, and small order pricing is sucking...

hey everybody -

the usb 64m smart cards just arrived and are back in the shop: http://store.kitsch-bent.com/product/usb-64m-smart-card

and, we are very happy to have some copies of _node's latest album in the shop. if you are unfamiliar with chip-on-chip releases, these are music albums in their native cartridge format, so that you can just pop them into the console and play the tunes on your actual hardware. _node's album is NES format.

you can find them here: http://store.kitsch-bent.com/product/_node-d3ad_form4t

we still have a couple copies of the mist toggles' gameboy chip-on-chip album too: http://store.kitsch-bent.com/product/boneless

ok, that wraps it up for today. keep chipping!

so, to keep this short: i've been working towards getting my MA in polisci for a while, as some of you may know.  And, the dreaded 'comprehensive exam' is a week from today.

i've found myself unable to properly juggle everything to prepare for my comps, so kitsch-bent (i.e. the website and probably customer support e-mail) will be closed for business from tomorrow (Saturday) midnight EST (-5 GMT) until sometime Friday, probably late evening...

the website will say something along these lines, but the shop will be taken offline, and i'll be MIA for a few days.  no emailing unless i have to, no orders, just books.

I just wanted to say this here, to everyone as a whole, otherwise i'll be inundated with e-mails which is the thing i'm trying to avoid.

i'm the only one here (KB) that knows how to do EVERYTHING, so its sort of a needed thing to just go offline.  we try to get orders out ASAP, and i'm not too comfortable just not doing them and leaving people hanging for a few days.  hence, the temporary closure.

i'm going away into the mountains and being by myself to get shit done.  yes, seriously.  so, heads up if you need something and can't wait.  because, i'll be cut off from society for a few days until comps happen and pass.

wink
