486's Debut 7" Single on Teknömadix Records chiptune music lable

Self produced and created / recorded in the back of a sketchy van. 486 brings his own unique nomadic flavor into the world of microchip bass music. Borrowing some tags from others, this could be classified as chipstep, chipbass, Skweee and certainly, a heaping hand full of other creative and colorful tag lines. Bottom line, this is straight up chip tune at it's finest. Pressed on heavy gram vinyl presented as it was intended to be! The digital revolution is over, now lets play some fuckin' records!

This release is a limited run of 500, but only 100 of them are available here. Advanced copies will ship within three days of the set release day, March 12th 2011.

Get em while they hot!

Why are these so expensive if you pressed 500 of them?

What the fuck man, people are really fucking cheap.
Also: the less you press, the more it costs.

Bought and waiting anxiously for it! big_smile

Less than $7 is really good for a 7" vinyl. It's a big difference from the Sounds Legit series that's like $20 w/ shipping.

Yo krew!

Nice to wake up and see loads of pre-sales orders in my inbox!  I know that several came from members here,  big UP!  Thanks so much fir the support.

Teknomadix Records is started upon blood and sweat. I felt I might be taking a big gamble, if I press this record and form a new label for its release.  My thoughts were, will it sell?  Do people love vinyl and the 7" format as much as me?  Will I regret this?

Looking ahead, no regrets!

Good news today,  BLEEPSTREET Records will take over digital releases of this single upon it's release date.  But what this means, is that Teknomadix can only offer you the free digital download with purchase of a pre-sale unit during this limited time!
Official worldwide release date is, 2011, 3, 12

Teknomadix future.  Hey, it's just the beginning, but there is big plans ahead, and it will all be on wax.  I will make a point of breaking news on new releases here.  Keep ya eyes peeled, I got some serious 4-bit bump on the line.  2011 is going to be a very exciting year in physical chip music!

Rock on!

It only costs about $800 plus tax for 500 7'' records, then factoring in covers it's still a base cost of about $2 a record. I don't think I'm being cheap at all, I buy most of my vinyl records from punk labels that sell their 12'' LPs for $7-8. Sorry for having a genuine inquiry based on my experiences with record pricing. Jeez.

yes, production may be cheap, but what about producing the music? Some people would like to profit from their art, and there's nothing wrong with that.
