I'm in though it's probably going to be half BOTB Winter Chip stuff again.

I'm taking part, but I'm writing post rock, not chip. I'm adding songs here as I complete them.

I've been writing a new tune each day (exception of Sundays, day of rest and relaxation). I've been posting the ones I am satisfied with here:
http://rpmchallenge.com/index.php?optio … Itemid=296
and I am open to collaborating. If any of you are lyricists, let me know.

I am of course crazy and doing this.  Lazerscale taught me to always take the opportunity to do ridiculous "song in a time period" challenges.  I love to see what everyone comes up with at the end of these things.  I unfortunately got started around a week late so I'm pretty behind - might just improv at the end.  Who is to say that's not fun anyway?

Eh.

This is a stretch but is there any rappers here? Looking for someone who does Anticon-type of more abstract flow.

RPM is looking pretty good this far, I have several ideas and demos written down!

so who else is still going? ive got rough versions of my first 8 tracks done & recorded (though the structure on one track is still feeling really weird)

Everything sort of clicked last night and I'm pretty sure I've now have the tracklist, need to do lots of stuff still. I'm kinda excited about this now, its like a combination of my two previous albums with some awkward guitar playing here and there:) Weird combination of styles but hopefully will end up feeling like an album. That was my biggest worry that it will be just bunch of random songs.

Really digging Nanoloop for iPhone, that pretty much tied everything together. Now I need to add some of those lovely FM-sounds to some songs and then add some dirrrrty samples to others to balance everything.

I completely forgot about this thread until I saw your album in the Releases forum.

I finished mine last night and it came out pretty awesome.  Some weird hybrid of NES chiptune and post-rock mixed with free jazz elements (like tone clusters and layered polyrhythms).  Since the physical copies have to be mailed by noon tomorrow I'm scrambling to come up with artwork and stuff by the end of the day.
