we got a room in the hotel across the street, though its just for my wife and i, maybe they wouldnt mind if we got a few rooms next to each other?
There's a McCabes in Waterloo?
I thought it was only Guelph.
New one just opened up back in October, 1 block south of King and Victoria (technically Kitchener, I guess). It's good stuff. Though I suppose Bobby O'Brien's is a bit closer to the show.
Bobby O'B's is in Guelph, too!
Franchhiiiissse.
Edit: ONE MORE DAY.

Outrageous. So good I could puke. Out of my newly-deaf left ear.
Fucking rad time!
Need moar of these. I'm playing next time too, not just the open mic.
What was that probe that was constantly floating overhead!? Why did it move about the room!? My theory is that someone had the bright idea to brainscan a series of the most rad fucking chip musicians in order to build the ultimate chiptune!
The end is near! Soon chiptune will be over! Once the ultimate chiptune is released we'll all have to go home disappointed and beaten, knowing we will never again get enjoyment from anything ever again.

I was hoping that it would fly down and impart a super awesome robot dance on our asses. Teach us the way of the machine?
I filmed it.
Hot damn, I think my brain crashed. Sensory overload!
They built the probe thing back when THEMUSEUM was still The Waterloo Region Children's Museum. There's a control panel up on the 3rd floor (I think) so people can drive it around. The thing is, it's actually been broken for the past 6 months, so seeing it working was a total surprise. Also, I had no idea it had an autopilot.
Actually, forget what I just said. Jefftheworld is right: it's totally a chipmusic artist brain scanning device.
So. Same time next year?
I hope so.
Here's the first vid I've uploaded from last night:

so good, i took in as much local color(aka beer) as i could. Everyone was so awesome, it was a nice venue as well, the town was pretty cool too. Only beef was the fact that everything was closed on sunday, finding food wasnt impossible but i just wanted to eat at a diner and it wasnt happening, tim hortins seems pretty popular in canada, you guys like coffee and donuts more then i do.

Hope you got some of the Mill Street Organic that they have on tap there (though I think I got the bottom of a keg because the pint I had wasn't so good). I'm not into the whole 'organic' thing, but that's a really tasty beer. Oh, and Steamwhistle. Steamwhistle.
Mill st. Organic is such a good beer. Pretty expensive, though. Steamwhistle is always a safe bet.
Pilsner Urquell is amazing, though not local at all.
That's very interesting.
