Boy, this was a good time. Seeing as most of the lineup were first-timers there was a real dirty, gritty feeling to it, there wasn't an ounce of pretense and everybody wanted to prove something, which made a damned great show.
Also, I expected to be nervous headlining my first show but whatever happened (possibly the couple of beers I had beforehand), I really felt I brought a real kinetic energy to my set (speaking sheepishly, of course). For the first time, I felt like I actually belonged in front of people playing my silly music.
