Kinesis by Smiletron
(Some of those kicks are so gritty they make me want to eat dirt or something)

Car-Jack by Electric Children
(All EC and FighterX drama aside...the first syncopated bit in there makes me want to stomp on a car hood)

...If you happen to see a 23yr.old college male with a beard and a Soundgarden hat foaming at the mouth chomping on handfuls of dirt while tangling himself in a headphone chord ontop of a car...He's not manic.  he's probably just listening both those songs at the same time.

Supernova by David Sugar.

It was a late release on Micromusic.net and as a result you don't see it mentioned often, but it's one of the most rousing and technically adept pieces of lo-fi electronic music ever written. And that's for the whole eight minutes.

Honourable mentions go to Dance 2 by peeR, Starlight by YMCK, and Gradifunk by Hally.

Tree Wave - May Banners, Sleep
little-scale - You Have My Dignity
Bit Shifter - Strange Comfort
Random - Spontaneous Devotion
Receptors - Disconnected
Anamanaguchi - Airbrushed

Tree Wave was really my first experience with chiptunes. Everyone should listen to them more. Shame that they no longer exist.

This list just got a LOT harder to make since my last post earlier this year. So many.

What drama? I must have missed this haha.

I freaking love his music, I think my favorite chiptune of his is Electric Children Sucks.

But for all time? Saskrotch - Warming Up...the first one I ever heard and the first one to make me cry tears of bloody happiness.

like most have said; There is absolutely no way I can pick a favorite track!!!  I am obviously into the more hardcore stuff, but there is one track that has always touched my emo just right==== pitf4ll  by Unicorn Dream Attack!   it also has a hard gabber moment..maybe that explains it.lolol      http://www.myspace.com/search/Music?q=u … tack/music
