;o)
This actually looks like a nice simple DIY alternative to pricier options. I got an 8580 I wouldn't mind using. Is anyone selling PCB's?
Ever since listening to some C64 tunes and watching C64 demos, I've fallen in love with the SID.
I've been saving up for a Commodore 64 ever since.
It's a massive relief to find something cheaper and more modern than the C64 (not to mention much more portable!).
However, it sucks that it's a DIY project. I'm absolutely shocking with electronics and the like.
If anyone could build me one and ship it to Aus, I'll pay them.
A workmate of mine did this. I think he still take orders for a reasonable donation to forskningsavdelningen.
EDIT: Fully assembled etc.

Nice! How much would a fully assembled unit cost from him on average?
This sounds really good. Does it work on VICE?> This is the only thing I care about. I have 3 6581s lying around.

I don't remember, but he's been very reasonable. Just send him a mail and ask.
Akira, it should work with VICE (it's based on the Hardsid API), but drivers only exist for Windows, as far as I know.
If you would be so kind to give me your workmate's contact, I will gladly buy one off him!
Wait, so how exactly do you control the SIDBlaster?
Through software that supports the Hardsid.dll framework.
Linde, your friend is not interested in building these for other people.
So, anybody knows of anyone that could build one of these for me in Europe?
All I really want is a PCB. All the gerber files and such are available. Maybe we could organize a bulk order?
Probably besides the author no one has this board running
