Hi All.

My name is Peter i have made several tracker for different sound chip and computer,
I do not make music my self, because I not good enough for it,
the tracker I am working on right now is an Atari ST tracker for PCs.
I am considering posting it here if it has any interest.
Someone might see it I have upload an early Beta version of the Atari Forum,
but thought maybe it's better to upload it here
as there are more here who is likes chip music.
My Editor still missing sample drums and Midi Input.
But i got finish with Pulse Width Modulations and Synth wave yesterday,

i have also made a Dos Player/Editor that can run in Opl2 and Opl3 mode.
That i can uploaded.
Due to hard disk failure i don't have the last version, and i am missing 4 files to compiled the program,
so theres is some minor bugs in it but nothing serious.
It run ok under Dos-Box.

Best Regards
Peter.

Dos-Editor (Master Player)

Opl2 (Adlib) mode 2 operators 9 voices polyphonic
Opl3 (SB Pro 2)  2 operators 18 voices polyphonic.
I only have 9 channels, in my editor, so in Opl3 mode, you could have 2 sound in each channel.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Atari 2149 (Pc Emulator) Tracker 07-10-2011

new download in the first post.

important.
Set clockskip to 1 and soundbuffer to as low as possible.
goto options and select tracker.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Opl2 / Opl3 Tracker
https://rapidshare.com/files/2761655659/Editor.rar

important.
need Dos-box or a opl2/opl3 sound card to run.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

my trackers are different from normal tracker, they do not use pattern, it is one long score,
the reason for this is to give a quick overview,
one another difference is that my bend routine is very complex, i did it (among others) for being able to make realistic drums, and crazy efxs,
and not least, trying to make it as easy as possible to use.

if you trying my programs and have the time or desire, then i will be very happy for some feedback, also if You think it's crap,
it need not be anything special, just a few word
or if you think that something is missing, find bugs, have questions about how to use the program, or any ideas to make it better,

Unfortunately, the DOS program does can not be change, because I can not complied the program any more.

Best Regards
Peter

theoretically it can be changed, but I will probably be necessary to have 2 player routines, but it would be possible.
I've played a little with the idea to create a hardware player, I have 10pcs Philips Saa1099 sound chip, and a friend who can help me with the hardware.
I am also considering created my own softsynth, 16/32 channels chip tracker, because it can be difficult to get hold of the old hardware chip
but I do not know what I'll do yet because I still have a long way to go with my Ym2149 tracker.
