Hey guys

i know that 8BitCollective has had trouble with its server bills, and has gone down in the past and whatnot, but I haven't been able to access any part of the site whatsoever for about a week now. is it just me? or are they down for the count this time? and if they truly ARE gone, what are some other places that with some active chiptune forums to browse around on besides 8bc? 'cause i seem to be having trouble with finding some other ones...

2xAA says the payment's been sent, just waiting for the hosting company.

BTW, people here don't really like it when someone brings up 8bc. Just a heads up. You should try Noisechannel.org. We're still working out some kinks with the site, but we're much friendlier, for the most part.

I've been checking out music here: http://www.noisechannel.org/. Yeah I don't know, probably financial trouble.

It's nothing to do with how friendly we are. We just get sick of having to field questions of which we have litterally zero control over.

What celsius said. Unless someone from 8bc staff happens to see one of these threads, people here know as much or as little as anyone else.

This illustrates my point nicely. We're just a bit over it considering the fact it goes down up to several times a month.

In addition to this great site and the aforementioned NoiChan there's also Extreme Sound Forum (they have a chip forum) as well as IDMforums and KVR forums (start a chip-related thead!)
