Hi,

I've been developing a Retro 2D platformer action game which is themed in 1930's, like Al Capone era / Old Amerian gangs and I'm releasing it in about 10 days and I need music for it which I prefer to be Jazzy and be retro and 80's in the same time but I'm OK if it's only upbeat and fit like a good retro tune.

Game is set in streets of the Chicago in 1930's and it's black and white with focus on red color for blood. It's kinda gory but it's very pixellated and funny.

I think we need around 4-5 tracks for the whole game.

Let me know if you are interested to do so, drop me an email to:
aidin{the at sign goes here}AidinZolghadr[put a dot here dude]com and I'll give you a demo of the game to play or screenshot. It would be nice if I would hear some of your tracks too.

Best regards,
test84.

i'd be interested depending on how much it pays, as 4-5 tracks in 10 days is a lot of work, if you care about quality at least.

here's the soundcloud i se tup for my more VGMish tunes. i think city spikes might be the closest to the kind of sound you're looking for, since i haven't really done any 20s ish jazz tracks.

Why did you decide on a release date before you had a composer lined up for the soundtrack? Seems crazy IMO. That's a VERY tight deadline and I know if it was me I'd just let the release date slip a bit in favor of a better soundtrack. Unless there is some reason we don't know of as to why it must be released in 10 days.

Anyway, goodluck! Sounds like it could be a cool game.

maybe someone backed out at the last minute and he's already locked in to a release date for some reason?

but yeah, i'd agree with you personally.

It's just our deadline for this game and it just reached a stage that we can think about it's music. Since we don't like to show a game to an artist that lacks other aspects and would feel unfinished.
