There's a lot of good, but definitely a few things I miss from 1.3.

Pros:
+ cleaner interface (somehow)
+ real arpeggio sequencing! (and simultaneous arpeggio/pitch bend)
+ slurs!
+ global LFO!
+ gate mode (aka alva noto mode)
+ backup, version update, and extra romz!

Cons:
+ no double-delay option? this was the backbone of my sequencing steaz in 1.3...
+ can't control arpeggio speed
+ only 8 waveforms sad
+ only 8 banks sad

Other thoughts? Am I totally spaced out and missing something on one of these?

+ it's what i've got and i fucking love it!
+ FM!

con:
+ FM is a bitch to use (for me at least)
+ in song mode, longer patterns don't start at the beginning when placed at an odd position.

the lack of double-delay was a huge letdown for me. It's something I feel i NEED to have to make a lot of the shit I want to make. Also, 8 banks simply is not enough!

I could always see what note it was just by looking at the location of the block. So I had no problems transcribing stuff. But yes its maybe easier for some people with actual note names. For me it doesnt really matter, both are good. smile
