Spring has officially arrived. With the rising temperatures and the refreshing breezes, there's no denying that we're finally free from the grasp of a winter that has certainly overstayed its welcome. This month, Pulsewave helps you stretch out your limbs and shake off that post-hibernation grogginess with a triple threat of energetic, fun, yet intellectually challenging chip music, all framed by the swirling splendor of one of the east coast's finest visualists.  Headliner and Blip Festival New York alum exileFaker makes a triumphant return to Pulsewave hot on the heels of his 8bitpeoples release Ockham's Chainsaw, backed up by the unstoppable rhythmic juggernaut Note! and the hyper-energetic fun machine Fuckjazzforaminute. And back from his recent Blip Festival Australia trip, Batsly Adams promises to blow a few minds with his expertly coded and precisely performed Genesis visuals.

Born of thunder on the crest of a volcano, Alex Kiefer has presided over the great land of Ranya for thousands of years. He built an empire from blade and lash, leaving all before him a simple choice: kneel in fearful respect before him, or lay in shameful death beneath him. His love of power is only shadowed by his lust for the fairer sex, and he is known to keep an impressive harem surrounding him wherever his travels brings him. He uses Game Boys and he is very, very good at it.

Note!
Christophe Richard was the original wild child of Brooklyn, NY in the 1960's. The doctor that delivered him in a seedy hospital in Hell's Kitchen told that Richard was born "with his hair slicked, and his fists pumping." He dropped out of school at the ripe age of 11 to lead his first gang, the Rudeneck Band of Fuckers. He led the RBoF to the top of the streets before his unceremonious murder by the hands of his most trusted ally, "Titty" Ricky Lambazo.

The life of Michael Lerman has been shrouded in mystery for the better part of the 20th century. Some say that there is no single Lerman, that he is but a mythical character, played by a chosen few and known by all. His name is only ever whispered, for it's told that should his name be audibly spoken, the spectre Michael Lerman will come to the speaker that night and recite to you the details of your death. You will be a broken soul from that night forward, for the consequences of uttering "Fuckjazzforaminute" are never anything but horrifying. Enjoy his music, but we beg you, should you value your future, DO NOT SAY THE NAME.

Batsly Adams
A once great guitarist now seeks a simple life. Andrew Reitano, great American songsmith and writer of a true folk classic, "Wind Got Me Movin Out Again (Dirty Bath)," has become quite the recluse in recent years. He is a man of routine, fixing his simple meals of locally grown vegetables and hand-slaughtered veals (the only way the meat should be taken), and retiring to his porch nightly, with a cocktail of his own concoction (he calls it a "Scrobbletrotter", and while he does not shed light on the origins of the name, damned if you've ever had a finer whistle-wetter in your ridiculous little life). Ask him about his otherworldly fingerpicking technique, and see if he doesn't laugh off your request and light a cigarette for the sole purpose of blowing smoke in your face.
