Hello CHIPMUSIC fans.

Look what I found on internet.

ATMega162 based home computer:

    Currently the system offers the following video modes (16 colors available): text mode (40x25 chars, 2 colors per char), hires mode (352x240 pixels, 2 colors per 8x8 pixel block), multicolor mode (160x200 pixels, each pixel's color is independent of other pixels)
    Sound generator with two channels
    Access to SD cards with a FAT file system (read / write to an existing file)
    PS/2 keyboard interface
    128 kByte SRAM
    ISP interface to program the microcontroller
    Power LED, reset button, power on / off
    Enhanced Basic 6502

There is PACMAN source so and 6502 API describtion too.
So lets make this little computer and make some 8BIT like games big_smile and 2 channel BEEP/PC SPEAKER like tracker.

How prototype looks:

PS: Can someone make 8 x 8 cm PCB with PSU plug, SD-Card plug, PS/2 and RESET button, Power LED
,ISP and power on/off with scart and 4 x holes for screws???
I will do enclosure for it...

Cool thing. That's a real pity that AVR MCUs aren't capable to execute code from RAM or external memory, though - they would make really great 8-bit computer otherwise, because they has loads of processing power.
