Yes, the cover-art IS crap, isn't it.

I would know the best, haha, I made it.

Yeah, You're right - I just didn't want for somebody else to finish some pic. I'm not getting any younger, You know. wink

Hi, a new album; maybe somebody would be interested.

Yeeeeeees, a great meeting with everybody and maybe one day, somewhere, it might be possible to repeat it. wink
(And now I miss the Japanese beer - the real and the artificial one, haha wink ).

Thx for everything btw! wink

.

Thanks a lot guys. smile

And the 20:15 song is "Sailor Moon" song from anime, the cover I made especially for this concert.

Best regards,
Y

Well, some info and YouTube video about my gig -
http://chipmusic.org/forums/post/218330/#p218330

OK dudes, there was a chiptune festival in Japan – Square Sounds Tokyo 2014 – here is the video of my ZX concert there, in 28.09.2014.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOx9InNtU3A
The recording contains entire concert – 30 minutes.

The songs have been composed on ZX81 and ZX Spectrum.
This time my hardware was:
-    Speccy2010 for the sequences – and toy-keyboards:
-    Yamaha PSS-680 for the main playing (it has also very cool drum-pads)
-    toy sampler CASIO SK-1 for screaming smile effects
-    miniature CASIO SA-5 (for sound effects)
-    and ‘microscopic’ toy analogue ribbon-synth KORG Monotron Duo (like above).

Additionally – the sound-fx ZOOM RFX-2000.

Here, the entire recording has been takes “from the hall” but still You can hear something. smile

Unfortunately, while the air-journey my the main mixer/effect Behringer (planned to be used for toy-synthesizers), has got a serious shot in a plane, and sadly in Tokyo I found it doesn’t work. The organizers were kind enough to lend me their own Behringer mixer (thx mates!) but there was only a machine without a sound-FX section accessible, so You might notice the ‘keyboard section’ sounds a bit raw (it was my big regret, regarding the flight).

After all, people in Japan liked the ZX music, and they were even approaching me after the gig, sayin’ that it was nice to hear songs from the hardware unknown in Japan.

Enjoy. wink

The "endciety" song just destroys my mind. What an excellent piece of work, Irrlicht.

PS: And also top-class 1bit engine programming from Alone Coder, btw.

Excellent chiptune art-rock work.
With a vivid ray of insanity. Hahaha.

Heh, thx dudez. smile

Tomy, actually I don't know what to do with it, so maybe You'd be interested to.... take a hear wink

That's a TurboSound version of the song (ZX Spectrum with 2 x AY chips = 6 channels).
The improvements are rather cosmetic but it does sound a little bit different (more... 'depth' with 6ch instead of traditional 3ch). Also, at last it's possible to listen to it on headphones, hahaha.

Thanks again, guyz.
Regardssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss,
Y

Hehehe. There's a strong&heavy possibility of it. wink
I wonder btw, how strong the Japanese beer usually is (also this "artificial" beer I'm interested in too wink ).

My reasoning is - here the standard light beer is being sold in cans 0,5 L and it's 5,6% of alcohol strong. Usually I take 7 of those while some bigger party and so on. For instance our ZX coder Hellboi takes for a night 12 beers in 0,5L cans, but beer in his country is usually 4% strong (more/less).

But % in JP might be different, not to mention the cans might be smaller (I don't recall those small capacities of cans, they're not popular here).
