Boddrick:
So here they are:

tracks.zip
The all 3 separately recorded traxx. Also, now You can hear how it has been done. Sometimes there is bass, bassdrum and snare altogether in one channel, heh.
Btw, originally the song was looped so here it ends suddenly as the loop had to be removed of course.
Hehe, let me know if You have anything.
SketchMan3:
ZX Spectrum has 2 sound-sources: beeper and AY.
The Beepola tracker is for beeper. I use the AY instead.
For composing I use a native Spectrum tracker which is ZX SoundTracker 1.1.
However You can use a PC cross-platform tracker - Vortex II.
http://bulba.untergrund.net/VT1.0beta19.7z (Windows).
The stuff composed for GameBoy was made for AY originally, as far as I remember.
Greetzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Haha, I hear You mate.
OK, I get it.
Well, it's partly possible. I mean - ZX has 3 tracks only. But it has more generators. Hence - usually the arpeggios + hihats + snare are in one and the same track. Bass and the bassdrum are in another one. And commonly the third track goes with lead instrument. But of course it changes while the entire song (due to few channels people have to make some strange variations sometimes ).
But the separation for 3 tracks is strict and easy to record... separately.
So I will do it and upload here, probably today, in the evening. And You will see if it's useful.
Thx a lot!
Yerz
Boddrick: Thx dude.
Whad do You mean by "stems" btw? Some sources or anything like that?
8bittypage: Thank You very much. I wasn't sure if the 'experiment' will be successful.
Well, it was kinda experiment, we could say.
Making some heavy/brutal stuff for YM/AY chip with its single speed (50hz) is rather risky.
Those chips haven't any super-hyper developed synthesis, You know.
That's why people use them mostly for melodic music rather than hard electro/breakz stuff.
Another thing is making YM/AY music with 4-times speed (200hz). Then the chips show their full power (like in STU's productions for Atari ST) but this mode of work isn't actually available for ZX Spectrum because our CPU is too slow (3,5Mhz only).
But still, I wanted to give it a try and make something less melodic and more 'aggressive' this time.
The next - 'Japanese' - album entitled "Microsongs" will be melodic again (with exception of one dubstep song).
Best wishes
Yerz
PS: I suspect the brutal stuff could sound better from 2 AY chips (TurboSound) but it wasn't the idea, this time.

Really nice ones.
Xylo: why not. Someone would just have to organize a concert and invite us.

So,

A very good video indeed.
Thanks for the technical info man, that's what I like.
OK, I will listen to the stuff today!
Hehe, cheerz dude but for now there will be some regular chiptunes album, this time although not the cheerful stuff nor trance/ambient, but some more aggressive electro/breakbeat on YM2149 / AY-3-8910.
Will keep ya informed, guyzzzzzzz.
No problem dude
sometimes it's good to know that classic platforms are still alive and people use them not only for music but also for gfx and presentations.

OK, the results:
http://spectrum4ever.org/zxaaa13/
(the same page but works are in order, also the authors has been added).
Hi,
maybe You'd be interested in on-line voting in ZX Spectrum party, hehe. It includes numerous chiptunes as well, and also pixel graphic and video presentations. So - if You haven't anything better to do...
Since today is possible to vote on various ZX Spectrum works (music/pictures/demos) with this site:
http://spectrum4ever.org/zxaaa13/?lng=eng
so if anybody would be interested - just do it.
Everything is in PC formats (including PNG files, MP3 recordings, and YouTube videos) to be easier.
